Holo have the same hair, ears and tail as their namesake.
Behavior[]
Yukkuri Holo are energetic, love to play and eat apples. They love to hide in carts that are used by traveling salesmen, and will often ask for wine. They can drink alcohol, but get drunk easily.
Abilities[]
Yukkuri Holo have excellent senses of smell and hearing. They can smell when fruit (typically apples) are at their peak ripeness, and their hearing is so good, they can tell the purity of metals in coins or small bars or ingots by striking them together.
They are partially immortal, in that they cannot die of old age. They can get sick, but won't die from it. They can be hurt and killed, however. It is generally inadvisable to do so, as killing a Holo will result in the village of its killer being cursed with terrible famine by crops not growing and animals escaping.
To the opposite, if a person finds an injured Holo and heals her, their village will flourish with abundant crops, plenty of animals and increased trade with other villages.
