Water Yukkuris are a special type of Yukkuri that can survive in water, instead of dissolving. There are very few species that are like this. Recently, a sub-species of yukkuri nicknamed Kantai Yukkuri (yukkuri based off of the characters Kantai Collection) have surfaced. Due to the nature of their existance (being based on characters who are based on ships) it's without a doubt that all Kantai Yukkuri are aquatic by nature and do not need to be added to the list.

- Yukkuri Marisa (in the form of shelled and aquatic)
- Yukkuri Iku (Some pictures depicts them swimming in water)
- Yukkuri Chen (At least one artist has depicted a Chen using its hat to float in water)
- Yukkuri Tenshi (Some are seen using their hats to float)
- Yukkuri Wakasagihime
- Yukkuri Murasa
- Yukkuri Suwako
- Kantai Yukkuri
- All Yukkuries available in Yukkuri Diary, if they have a "Swim" stat of three stars. They will then put their accessory on underneath them like Aquatic Marisa. However, the only way to get an aquatic Yukkuri in this game, other than getting lucky, is to put them in water, which may harm them. Not even the various shelled and fish Yukkuries found in the Beach area are guaranteed to have a "Swim" stat of three stars despite clearly swimming and being submerged in water without harm.
