Makako's famous bodied Scarlet Sisters.

Every now and then, an artist may take a Yukkuri, who is normally just a head, and depict them with a body.

If so depicted, a bodied Yukkuri will generally have a miniaturized version of the same body the Touhou Project character it's based on has. Theoretically, any Yukkuri can be bodied; however, thanks to the influential early works of Makako, the Scarlet Sisters, Inaba Sisters, and randomly, E.S. Yamaxanadu are most closely associated with the phenomenon.

However, some bodied Yukkuries may instead be depicted with anamalistic bodies. This is typically associated with Kimeemaru.

It has never been made clear how exactly bodied Yukkuries get their bodies, although the commonly-accepted theory is that they start out as normal Yukkuries and then gain bodies somehow. However, artworks showing Yukkuri reproduction may show the babies also having bodies.

There exists a comic series in which a Dosuyukkuri Marisa has a body. She's as gigantic as a skyscraper.

Despite having a body, this Remilia still gives birth to another through her Mamu Mamu.

A bodied Yukkuri's holes apparently don't move with their body, as the picture on the left shows. This can lead to the bizarre oddity of what appears to be a human pee peeing with their head hunched over a toilet.
